August 15, 2018
Moving away for college is likely the biggest transition in your life—at least until this point. You have so many new needs, like housing and laundry, not to mention finding a checking account of your own.
Minimum balances and ATM fees hurt your wallet more when most of your time is focused on classes. Having a checking account that won’t charge you for being a student frees you up to focus on the important stuff.
Renasant Student Checking is designed to minimize fees and service charges while still offering innovative services like Apple Pay®, mobile check deposit, person-to-person payment services and convenient online and mobile banking. You only need $50 to open an account, and by opting for e-statements and having at least 10 debit card transactions (excluding ATM transactions) post and clear per qualification cycle3, you can access all these services, including ATM fee receipts up to $25 per month.
Save some extra cash with Renasant Student Checking today. You can open an account online or at more than 180 locations throughout the Southeast. We are happy to help—even if you spend most of what you save on pizza.
